Last week, I made a conference call to two others simultaneously. All 3 of us are in 3 different countries (USA, Guatamala and Lithuania respectively - don't ask!). I made the call successfully. More expensive but easy to contact 2x land lines (or other mobiles) Otherwise, whoever has access to land lines needs to find out if their operator supports three way calling and get the codes to activate it.
